This workpackage is purposefully larger than the other technology workpackages because it serves as the foundation for many of the technologies associate with in-home and mobile environments.
The objectives of this section are to give an understanding of some of the fundamentals underlying Body Sensor Networks, to consider the design aspects and specifics relating to applications, and to review the state of the art globally in both academic and industrial environments.
