  • Objectives - The objective of Cogknow is to aid people with mild dementia to have greater actual and perceived autonomy and improved quality of life by helping sufferers navigate through their day. Through cognitive reinforcement, the aim is to assist people to remember, maintain social contact, perform daily life activities and enhance their feelings of safety. This is to be achieved by 'a breakthrough in the development of a successful, user-validated cognitive prosthetic device with associated services.'
  • Details - The approach of the Cogknow project involves, Human Aspects, Technology Prototyping, Field Testing and Evaluation. To this end some of the technological deliverables include;
    • The Cogknow Day Navigator Mobile device
    • The Cogknow Server - Aggregation server
    • The Cogknow Home Hub
    • The Cogknow Cognitive Assistant
    • The Cogknow Sensorized Home - Sensors based on devices such as doors, fridge etc
  • Videos - Videos of the developed prototypes can be acceses by folling this link [1]
  • Trials - The Cogknow project identified several phases of trials mainly centered around validating the technology prototypes. No results are available publicly as of yet however when they are available they will be posted here [2].
