Performance Oriented Balance and Mobility Assessment (POMA)
From Capsil Wiki
One of the most commonly used assessment scales is Tinettiās POMA. It is a simple clinical scale that grades performance on 14 balance items and gait items. The POMA has been shown to correlate with the Berg Balance Scale. Raiche et al [1] found that a POMA score lower than 36 provides a falls prediction of 70% sensitivity but only moderate specificity 52%.
